Recycle Curtains was created and set up in 2012 Having created Kingscurtains Ltd. Kingscurtains wanted to offer a service that when Curtains.

Home Furnishings are made that instead of the old curtains being left with the Customer, that could end up in a cupboard or loft, to offer to take the old Curtains and make the curtains into something new, that a new customer would love unless your fabric has faded through the sunlight or been damaged through a cat climbing up the curtains, then the fabric may well still be in good condition.

Once the old curtains have been received, a border can be added to increase length in a different colour as a contrast to match your decor, or the curtains can be cut down to size to fit a new window size, left over fabric, Cushions can be made, Tie Backs, Draught Excluders…

Recycle Curtains is passionate about the environment, as most curtains are not used or left in a garage, what could have been used again is Curtain heading Tape, Tie backs – interlining can be used again, and the fabric aswell of course! Old Cushions – turn fabric inside out, and often fabric is fresh and clean and bright and can be sewn as the right side.

The Founder of Recycle Curtains has a background in Fashion, Fabrics, Pattern Making, Curtain making, learning to sew from the age of 11, worked in a High end Sewing Factory from the age of 16 and then continued in the Fashion/Textile Industry. Quality of all curtains are finished to a standard of your budget, as Recycle curtains aims to provide a good service and be satisfied with your new Curtains.
